It is the wide open layout that invites the sights and sounds of old Makena right into the home. The first floor of the Shogun Tree house is an open cabana that features comfortable furnishings, a wet bar with refrigerator, two barbeques that use either propane or Kiawe wood, a TV with DVD player and VCR, and a full bathroom that has a Japanese style furo tub for a much needed soak at the end of a busy day. There is also a hot tub with an outdoor shower that is the perfect spot to enjoy a gorgeous Maui sunset in complete relaxation and privacy. It is this wide open cabana that really makes you feel like you have arrived in paradise.

The interior of the Shogun Tree House has all the special touches that a luxury home needs. There are two wide screen LCD TV’s with digital cable and DVD/VCR’s, stereo, wireless internet access, and a fax machine. The interior is designed to maximize the cool, gentle trade winds that Maui is famous for with vaulted ceilings in the living room and bedroom. The kitchen is fully equipped with refrigerator, microwave/convection oven, range, and all the kitchen utensils needed to prepare a full gourmet meal.

There are two lanais, one off the kitchen and one off the bedroom, where you can watch the sunset. The master bedroom has a queen sized bed and there is also a very comfortable futon couch that can sleep additional guests. Overall, the Shogun Tree House is the perfect place to come and experience Maui the way it was always meant to be. Nearby activities include; golfing at the world famous Makena and Wailea Golf Courses; snorkeling, diving, or kayaking at the nearby Makena Landing, Ahi Hi Bay, or La Perouse Bay; and relaxing at the many nearby beaches including Prince (Maluaka) Beach, Makena Beach, or Chang’s Beach. The home is also right down the street from Keawala’i Church, making it the perfect place for honeymooners to stay after their Maui wedding. One Queen, One Sleeper upstairs.
