Beach access just across the street

Pau Hana is located at the quiet end of Puako Beach Drive, on the south end of the two-lane street. The only cars you hear or see will be local folks or vacationers arriving home, or an occasional surfer or swimmer. Just across the street, is a beach access for snorkeling, sunset viewing, turtles watching and during winter months, observing the visiting humpback whales. Along Puako Beach Drive are numerous beach entrances, each with a unique personality and ocean access. We encourage you to try them all. The Orchid and Mauna Lani Hotels are a brief walk from the house, along a breathtaking oceanside pathway. Walk to the gym or any of the hotels dining rooms. Right in Puako, we are lucky enough to have the friendly folks at The Puako General Store who stock a wide variety of food and sundry items that our guests have found useful during their stay
